What is Training Without Travel?

Training without Travel provides training for Head Start programs across the USA, through on-demand courses based on the Head Start performance standards. The courses can be used to train your staff in small increments, on your time schedule, for more effective learning and retention. Several courses are currently available, and additional courses are added each year as needs of Head Start programs change.

How many of my staff may attend the courses?

Unlimited staff from a single program can attend the courses for only one purchase price. You will be viewing PowerPoint slides while listening to the narrative, and the course can also be made into a CD, allowing you the flexibility to use at multiple sites, and multiple time frames.

What are the system requirements?

Access to the internet, Windows Explorer 6.0 and above and the ability to view a video file on either Windows Media or any other media player that can play .wmv files.

What is the length of the courses?

The courses vary in length, and each course has a description that includes approximate length. For most modules, participants are given the opportunity to pause the recording and answer questions that appear on the screen, so small group discussion time should also be allowed.
