Technical Considerations

The videos for all Training Without Travel resources are “.wmv” video files. These can be played on most computers that have a media player. Microsoft created the Windows Media player that plays this type of file so it is pretty universal. If you don't have a media player it can be downloaded for free:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/windows-media-player .

You can also save the video files and burn them to a CD or DVD if you are presenting to a large group and want to view on a television monitor.

The other resources are mostly PDF documents that can be opened with any computer that has the Adobe PDF reader. It is a free download if you don't have it: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

If you have any additional technical considerations, please contact Deborah Davis at ddavis@trainingwithouttravel.net

“The Training information is very good and most helpful. I thank you for developing the training material in such a way that staff and parents can really understand. Keep the training material coming because every employee in the agency can receive the training without the expense of traveling and we can schedule training at the agency's and employees convenience. I used the Performance Standards 101 training material last week for a Center Managers Institute. It was wonderful! Next week we will train on the Federal Monitoring Review material. Thank you for being our Distance Learning T/TA Facilitator."
